vacation!!

29.07.25
i finished my first semester of college and i couldn't be happier. i worked really hard, learned a lot of new things and met some really cool people :) it went by so fast, and it might sound crazy but i'm already looking forward to the next one!! ( although i've been struggling a lot these past few weeks with the amount of work i've had to do )

while i'm very happy about it, i've been going through some family issues and other things, but i think i'm handling it all well, trying to distract myself with the good things and enjoying my vacation :)

i reached the current episodes of one piece and i can say that one piece is the best anime of all time. i wish everyone had seen it. i cried a lot. the animation is incredible!!! there were scenes where i tried my hardest not to blink. speaking of animation, for one of my college projects, i had to make a 30-second animation, and i can say it was the worst ever. it really opened my eyes to how difficult and beautiful animation is. now, whenever i see a beautiful, fluid cartoon/anime i think about how much effort the animators must have put into animating the scenes, and these are things that sometimes go unnoticed!

i finished olga tokarczuk's book and started reading "capitães da areia" by jorge amado. so good!! after that, i plan to read two books by byung-chul han and read "anansi boys" from the american gods universe. as for the series, i've basically only been watching lost. the first two seasons are sooo good, but the third is already falling apart... we'll see!
i'm also playing final fantasy XVII (not the new one, but the old one!) and i'm loving it!! it has a really good, soft vibe. i've always wanted to play it and this year i discovered my boyfriend has the game on steam the whole time, and i had no idea B) but i'm still in the early stages. i plan to play more until the end of the vacation if my brain lets me. every time i have free time to play a game, all i can think about is minecraft. like. always.

finally, i wanted to express my profound hatred for samsung. my phone had lines on the screen, just like my mother's ( and thousands of other people's, since it's a known factory defect on the S21 line ), and they refused to fix it. we even tried to sue them, thinking it would be an easy win... and we lost. for no reason at all. vai tomar no cu samsung!!
